About Dr. Illum

Benjamin Illum, MD, is an anesthesiologist and physician serving patients at Dreamscape Ketamine and Wellness, a ketamine clinic located in San Diego, California. 

Dr. Illum has a deep understanding of the pharmacology and administration of ketamine, which he developed over ten years as an anesthesiologist and intensive care physician. He's used ketamine in the operating room and intensive care unit to treat patients with severe symptoms related to mental health conditions, chronic pain, and dependence on opioids and other drugs. 

Dr. Illum is amazed at how ketamine safely, rapidly, and effectively improves patients' symptoms and reduces reliance on other medications. He is eager to bring ketamine out of the hospital setting and increase patient access so more people can experience these positive benefits.
