Ketamine therapy is initiated with a series of five to six treatments spaced out over two to three weeks. The goal is to have one treatment every two to three days during this time. Studies show that 70-80% of patients will experience improvement of their mood or pain symptoms during this initial phase. After this, maintenance treatments can be administered every one to four weeks as determined by the intensity of your symptoms.
