Dr. Illum, MD
I have a deep understanding of the pharmacology and administration of ketamine, which I developed over ten years as an Anesthesiologist and Intensive Care Physician. I have used ketamine in the operating room and intensive care unit to treat patients with severe symptoms related to mental health conditions, chronic pain, and dependence on opioids and other drugs. I am amazed how ketamine safely, rapidly, and effectively improves these symptoms and reduces reliance on other medications. I am eager to bring ketamine out of the hospital setting and increase patient access. Through this important work, I believe I will help improve our patients’ quality of life.
